Golf Altorreal is an 18-hole course by Dave Thomas from 1994 in Molina de Segura, in the hills around the city of Murcia. It is about 1 hour by car from Lago Rosa Apartment.
The Murcia tourist board calls Altorreal one of the most venerable and prestigious courses in the region,. It lies inland, away from the coast.
Play here and it almost pairs itself with the city of Murcia. That makes it a good choice for a day when you want more than golf, or when you want to leave the coast behind for a while. From the white tees it measures 6,171 metres according to the tourist board, and the other tees 5,925, 5,508 and 5,039 metres. So there is room for shorter hitters too.
