Hacienda Riquelme Golf is an 18-hole course (par 72) by Nicklaus Design in Sucina, Murcia region, opened in June 2008. It is about a 35 minute drive from Lago Rosa Apartment.
Large fairways with gentle slopes, five big lakes and plenty of bunkers: this is recognisably Nicklaus Design. From the white tee the course measures 6,356 metres. The setting is olive trees, palms and native plants, and tees, fairways and greens are laid with paspalum, a grass that copes well with heat.
Tactically it comes down to bunkers and water, on roomy fairways. The Murcia tourist board points out that the fairways are larger than average. That makes it a pleasant course for those who like a long, generous round.
Buggy
