Beach

Playa de los Náufragos is a 325 metre sandy beach south of the centre of Torrevieja, and it is about a 10 minute drive from Lago Rosa Apartment.

If you are going to Torrevieja with children, you are often best off here. At 77 metres the beach is pretty wide, with fine golden sand that slopes gently. On the north side the western harbour wall shelters the bay, so the water is calm and good for water sports. The south end has a rocky bit that anglers like.

Facilities are extensive: lifeguards, showers, toilets, foot showers, parasol and sunbed hire, sports areas, a restaurant, walkways and floating platforms. In the summer months there is also an inflatable water park, which for bigger children is reason enough to come. Los Náufragos is on all three of the 2026 Blue Flag lists we checked.

For people with reduced mobility there is adapted access and, from 15 June to 15 September, assisted bathing, by appointment on 670 563 022 and only under the green flag. Parking is not mentioned on the council's page, so expect to use the local streets.

Our tip: with children

The inflatable water park and calm water make this a good beach for a full day. It is popular, so come early.

Watch the flag

When the red flag is up, swimming here is strictly forbidden, even on warm days.
