La Finca Golf is an 18-hole course (par 72) by Pepe Gancedo in Algorfa, opened in August 2002. It is about a 20 minute drive from Lago Rosa Apartment.
The fairways are wide and generous, so even with a higher handicap you can happily take out the driver here. The difficulty is on the greens. Designer Pepe Gancedo gave each its own shape and size: the 7th is large and square, like an English bowling green, the 14th round and deep, like a wok. You really have to think with your wedge and putter.
The course sits among the farmland of the Vega Baja, with plenty of space between holes. The Junior European Championship and Spanish Junior Championship have been played here, plus qualifiers for the EPD Tour. A good pick for a four-ball with a broad range of handicaps: the long game is forgiving, the short game makes the difference.

After your round
The clubhouse sits by the 18th, with a terrace of over 250 square metres serving salads, pizzas, sandwiches and a house burger. The course is part of a resort with a five-star hotel and spa.
