Aquapark Flamingo is a small family water park in the La Siesta area of Torrevieja, and it is about a 15 minute drive from Lago Rosa Apartment.
If you are travelling with toddlers, you will do better here than in a big park. The children's area has water from 0 to about 30 centimetres deep, with games and small rides. For bigger children there is a green open slide and a blue closed tube, from age 6 and 1.10 metres. The fastest is the Waveslide, with a 10 metre drop, from age 10 and 1.20 metres.
There is also a quiet pool for swimming and a sunbathing area. Torrevieja council also mentions free parking, a café, changing rooms and lockers. Your own food that needs no cutlery, and soft drinks in plastic, may come in, according to that page, so sandwiches and fruit are fine.
