Lo Romero Golf is an 18-hole course (par 72) from 2008 in Pilar de la Horadada, known for the green set in water on the 18th. It is about a 25 minute drive from Lago Rosa Apartment.
Save some nerve for the end. The club talks of the legendary 18th, surrounded by water, and locally that green is called 'the Mediterranean island'. It is a par 4 of 302 to 370 metres depending on the tee, and stroke index 1. You drive from high up with the whole picture in front of you, and the 731 square metre green is almost entirely flat. Lovely for the photo, and a testing finish.
The rest of the round runs through Mediterranean countryside with pines, carob trees, palms and rosemary. The Valencian tourist board names Jorge Gallén and Enric Soler as the designers. The club itself calls the place the island of golf of the Levante.
Practice
